Product Overview
The Siren cut out wetsuit is a 2 mm glide skin bikini wetsuit with a fully open back and a high-cut leg, made for women whose warm-water days happen in the sea rather than beside it. The front is a clean, body-hugging panel, the shell is smooth under the hand, the inside is soft against the skin, and the whole suit rolls small enough to sit in a dive bag beside a mask and a towel.
It is built to do two jobs: a swimsuit that takes the edge off cooler water, and a suit light enough for the days when full coverage becomes a burden — reef snorkelling, warm-water dives, surf sessions, open-water swims and pool laps all sit inside its range. Pack it instead of a one-piece and a spring suit and you have both covered for a week in warm water. On the sand it reads as a backless bikini swimsuit; in the water the front panels and the 2 mm shell do the work.
Glide Skin Neoprene & Construction
- A shell that slides — glide skin is smooth rather than textured, so it moves through the water with very little drag, which you notice most on the surface between dives.
- Light for the warmth it gives — Yamamoto limestone neoprene is more consistent than a standard foam, which is why 2 mm feels warm without the extra weight of a thicker suit.
- Gives in every direction — the 360° stretch lining lets the panels follow your back and hips instead of tugging at the seams when you reach, rotate or climb a ladder.
- Nothing raised against your skin — eight-needle stitching runs the seams flush rather than proud, so there is no ridge sitting under an arm or against a rib during a long session.
- Soft on the inside — the inner face is skin-friendly and comfortable from the first dry pull-on, not only after the suit has been in the water.
- A shell shared across the range — the same glide skin and titanium finish appear on other cuts in our women swimwear store, so you know the feel before the parcel arrives.
- Quality you can see in the details — neoprene, coating and seam are the three things we refuse to compromise on, because they decide how a suit behaves after a season rather than on the first wear.

Open-Back Design & Shoulder Freedom
The back is cut away from the shoulder blades down to the small of the back — a real opening, not a keyhole. What changes is how you move: your shoulders rotate without a panel pulling across them, which you feel on the paddle stroke into a duck dive, on the pop-up, and on the slow finning between two points of a reef.
Nothing under the straps — dive with a BCD or pull a rash vest over the top and the back panel that usually rucks up simply is not there.
Cooler between dives — less material across the back means less heat trapped while you are on the boat, on the rocks, or walking back up the beach.
What to expect from the opening — water moves in and out at the back. That is the trade for the freedom, and in the warm water this suit is built for it costs you nothing.
Why the cut exists — if you want to buy open back wetsuit that frees your shoulders instead of binding them, the opening is the whole point: it is the difference between swimming in a suit and swimming with a suit on.
Quick-Dry Fabric & Aftercare
- Rinse the high leg neoprene bikini cut and the back edge first — sand and salt collect there more than anywhere else on the suit.
- Follow with fresh water over the whole shell; if it feels tacky, add a little mild soap, but skip detergent, fabric softener and hot water.
- Press the water out between your palms instead of wringing it — twisting is what puts strain on the seams.
- Hang the Siren cut out wetsuit inside out in the shade; the thin 2 mm panels give up their water quickly, so a shaded rail between two sessions in one day is usually enough.
- Keep it out of direct sun and away from hot cars — the neoprene shrugs off salt water and sun season after season, but stored heat and UV age a shell faster than the sea does.
- Store it flat or on a wide hanger with the back opening folded loosely, never creased hard against itself for months at a time.
Sizes, Colours & Leg Line
- Sizes S to XL — the listed range for this cut, from a close-fitting small through to an easy XL.
- Black — the classic; the one to choose if the suit will spend its life on boats and rocks.
- Grey — a softer look that photographs well in green water.
- Red — the colour that stands out in pictures and is easy for a buddy to spot from the surface.
- A high leg neoprene bikini line — cut high on the hip, which keeps fabric out of the crease where a lower leg opening bunches and rubs through a long kick set.
- More sun on your back — a backless bikini swimsuit cut leaves the middle of your back bare out of the water, so remember sunscreen there and rinse it off the shell afterwards.

About Our Company
TRUDIVE is an independent water-sports brand built around a simple idea: warm-water divewear that feels like you rather than equipment. Our online store opened in 2021, and we have been designing and refining our own wetsuit collections ever since, guided by fit feedback from divers, snorkelers and swimmers. You will also find us on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Xiaohongshu and Bilibili, where we share real sessions, styling and sizing tips. Questions about fit, care or an order reach our own team directly, before and after you buy.
FAQ
Q1. How warm is a 2 mm suit, and what water is it built for?
Two millimetres of glide skin is a warm-water weight. It is the suit you take to the tropics, to the Mediterranean in summer, or into a pool, and it takes the edge off without wrapping you in insulation you do not need. The Siren cut out wetsuit performs at its finest when the air is warm as well, because the open back lets heat out between dives. If you chill easily or dive in water that stays cold, a thicker closed-back suit will serve you better.
Q2. I'm between two sizes — which one should I take?
Because the high leg neoprene bikini cut sits high on the hip, the fit through the hip and rib is what decides whether the suit feels right. Take your measurements and match them to the size list rather than sizing up for comfort: neoprene should feel snug when you pull it on dry, and it softens once it is wet. A suit that is loose at the ribs will feel loose everywhere else in the water.
Q3. Does the open back stay in place when I swim or dive?
It does, provided the suit is the right size. The tension comes from the front and side panels, which run close under the bust and around the ribs, so the backless bikini swimsuit line holds through rolls, turns and surface swimming. The cut is deliberately snug through the sides for exactly this reason, and it is the fit to protect when you choose your size.
Q4. What should I wear underneath it?
Most women wear it on its own — the inner face is soft and the panels are cut to sit against skin. A thin bikini bottom underneath is a personal choice. If you want sun cover on your shoulders, a light rash vest layers over the top without interfering with the open back. Skip anything with thick seams or knot ties under the suit; those are what leave pressure marks after a long day.
Q5. Can I layer it for cooler water?
You can, and it is a practical way to travel with one suit: a neoprene vest or a thin top over the front adds warmth without changing the fit. Be realistic about the limit, though. This is a warm-water design, and if you are looking to buy open back wetsuit for a destination where the water stays cold all season, a thicker closed-back suit will keep you warmer than layering will.
Q6. Is the fit the same as your other bikini wetsuits?
Yes — this cut is built on the same size list as the rest of our women swimwear store, so if you already own one of our bikini wetsuits, start with that size. What changes between styles is the cut rather than the fit: the open back and the high leg alter how the suit feels on, not the size you take.
